Community Harvest Baptist Church

What to Expect
When you are visiting any church for the first time, the unknown factors can make you a little nervous. We do not want unanswered questions to cause you needless anxiety so we have attempted to provide answers to some common questions such as: Where do I go? What time do I show up? What’s here for my kids? What do I wear? What can I expect?

We want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Community Harvest Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience the presence of God. We want you feel the love of God and hear the Word of God! You may find the following information to be helpful as you plan for your visit.

WHERE DO I GO?
When you arrive on the property you will find parking on the right side of the church building. Sunday School starts at 9:00am and we have classes grouped by age for children preschool through the 12th grade. We have several adult Sunday School classes that you may choose to attend.

The morning worship service begins at 10:00am in the sanctuary. You may choose to have your children remain with you for the entire worship service or at the announced time they are invited to depart the sanctuary to attend a service designed especially for children. We also have a nursery available for infants through 3 years of age.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There is not a strict dress code at Community Harvest Baptist Church for our members or guests. We want you to come as you are. Our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable for your visit to Community Harvest Baptist Church.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN THE WORSHIP SERVICE?
Singing/Music
Every service gives you an opportunity to join us in spiritual songs as a congregation led by our music group.

Prayer
We are a church that believes in prayer. Throughout the service, prayers are led by different men who are members of the church. Some of these prayers deal with the needs and requests of our church family and friends, while others simply praise and thank God for His goodness and faithfulness.

Preaching
We consider the preaching and teaching of the Word of God to be the most important time of the service. We believe that the best help you can get comes from the instruction you receive from the Word of God.

Invitation
At the end of the preaching, Pastor Danny will ask everyone to stand and will give an invitation. This is a time for many to respond and make a life-changing decision by walking down the aisle and praying at the altar. A decision may be to trust Jesus Christ as personal Saviour or to become a better Christian. Whatever your decision may be, the altar is open to you to come forward with others that will make decisions.

If you would like someone to pray for you or would like to make your decision public, men and women from our counseling team will be available to pray with you and help you at the altar.
